Prices Per Club Race
Races are free to members who are financial Club members and members of TA/TNSW. For non-TA members day licenses are available at $20 – adults and $10 – child for 2 races per season only. Visiting TA members can race for a fee of $10 (adults) and $5 (child).
Juniors – no later than 7:10
Seniors – no later than 7:50am
Race Starting Times
Seniors First wave at 8am. Waves are determined on the day depending on how many people turn up.
Cancellation Of Races
If the conditions make the bike leg (only) unsafe for competitors, the Club will still conduct an event, whether it be a run/swim or run only. If a race is to be cancelled the decision will be made at start time.
Meetings are open to all members wishing to attend. Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month and rotate between Forster and Taree. They are usually quite informal affairs.
Club races depend on members volunteering their time. If you can, it is appreciated that if you are tapering or injured that you attend Club races to assist in marshalling duties. This gives others the opportunity to race. Marshals will sign on and be included in the point score.
We are redesigning our uniforms at the moment through Scody Australia and are taking orders for them to hopefully have them before Christmas. Email Dave Fitzhardinge for more info.
Financial Support for Members
Members of Forster Triathlon Club who have been selected to represent the sport of triathlon in a recognised Championship event in Australia or Overseas are eligible to submit an application for a financial contribution from the Club. Conditions apply.
